Chihuahua is very different from what normally people think when they first hear “Mexico”. Being the largest  federal state in Mexico (245,000 km2, almost 5 times the whole country of Croatia) and located in northern Mexico, Chihuahua is known for its great deserts, forests, mountains and mining towns.
